Audio Technica Releases the ATH-WS70 Solid Bass PDF Print E-mail

Audio-Technica has released a new range of headphones with the 'Solid Bass' moniker, the first of which is the ATH-WS70 Solid Bass.

Thanks to its 40mm driver unit, this newly launched series concentrates all its attention on providing the best sound possible with emphasis on providing the best possible bass response.

The ATH-WS70 housing is made of aluminum so the finish looks of even higher quality than any plastic finish could provide, and  has a 10Hz to 25kHz bandwidth and impedance of 47Ω.

Due to arrive here in Australia in November 2009, it is sure to be  a 'solid' performer in retail stores.
 
Audio Technica Releases the ATH-W1000X Audiophile Headphone PDF Print E-mail

The Audio-Technica ATH-W1000X replaces the aging ATH-W1000 headphone, and is based on the ATH-A1000. Like it's predecessor it offers extreme comfort with the 3D wing support system, making the headohone almost 'float' on your head.

Thanks to its wooden housing and 53mm driver units, the ATH-W1000X offers superb sound with great detail and clarity. With a 5Hz to 42kHz bandwidth and a low 42Ω impedance, they not only offer a broad tonal pallette, but are also easy to drive.

Pricing should be a little above the ATH-A1000 when it lands here towards the end of the year, expect an RRP of $900.
